Pointe Shoe Guide

A dancers first pair of pointe shoes are eagerly anticipated, it is an important and exciting time.
It is vital that pointe shoes are fitted correctly, not only to enable a dancer to dance to their full potential in their pointe shoes , but also to prevent injury.
At strictly dancing we only allow staff who are properly qualified to fit pointe shoes.

We will try all of our makes of pointe shoes until we find a pair that are best suited to the individual dancers feet.
The main pointe shoe that we tend to find best suited to our customers feet are the Bloch European Balance.
